The way I see it, the book of fairytales is if taken literally.
My opinion, because the bible seems confusing, contradictory, is because its taken literally.
The bible imo is a metaphorical book, whether Jesus is real or not is besides the point.
Easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter....

Yes, the fact the bible uses , double, triple, quadtriple etc meanings, causes many problems.
Red herrings to throw one off the scent.
Where it helps, it causes many to question.
Those who don't question are possibly more doomed than the rich person.

I don't get what is confusing about the Bible. I am not confused by very much at all in the Bible and I take everything literally except the parts that aren't suppose to be taken literally.
