Earn 2 Trade the gauntlet

What am I missing here?
You can't compare trading with $2k at Tradovate with $25k of third party capital. What you're missing is that you will be able to leverage someone else's capital to trade larger size than you would otherwise. In other words, if your system is making money on that additional capital, that means you're making money that you would never be able to make with just your own capital. Yes, you have to pay a split and slightly higher fees, but if you are profitable, who cares because you couldn't have ever made that kind of money on your own.

But I do not need 25K with your terms? I could trade 6K with 1 contract...even less with my tight target and SL and winrate.

Why would a prop firm want to work with an unprofitable trader?

First question would be, if you have $25k of your own money you can safely risk, and you're a profitable trader, why would you want to work with a prop firm?

Key take aways are; 1) It's not your money at personal money at risk. 2) You're with a bigger FCM which some people feel better about.

Other than that, it's a question you would need to answer yourself.

We never said the prop firm wanted to work with an unprofitable trader. If you can't hit the 10%, they won't accept you. Plenty of people are profitable and just can't keep the money in there, so they can never grow their account. Or maybe they are profitable but want the jump to a larger account.

It sounds like you're all set with your tight risk management and win rate! Keep up the good work.

But they limit you to 3 contracts Baron...so size does not matter...

Who limits you to 3? The prop firm doesn't.

Margin is $5600 for ES. That's 4 contracts with 25k. You make a profit, you get another contract at $28k. It's the firms money, they have to control risk. Many professional traders do not even use day margins. I tend to trade 1 contract per $100k-150k.

I don't get it...Take one contract away as you need a buffer...25k gets you 25-62 contracts elsewhere...not that you would use them..but with tight trade stops you sure the heck could tie up less money in your account rather than the illusion of 25k that this place gives you.

This is a day trading prop firm NO OVERNIGHT HOLDS OR SWING TRADING right?

With 4, you still have a $2,600 buffer. In any case, not everyone is going to need or want what we offer. That's ok :) For many people, $25k is a lot of money and a great thing to not have to risk their own capital. This might be different in your case, we don't really want to argue that, in which case, you can simply afford risking more than most of our customer base and the product may not be for you.
