So is one's analysis. Why is this so?

Because the astute trader/investor knows he is at best dealing only with PROBALITIES. Nothing in the markets ever gives off CERTAINTY and if it does, then it is the only time it is certain that a reversal is imminent.

One examines the probabilities and take the shot when the odds are in one's favor.

michael covel: doesn't trade, period. i asked him to his face after a speech he gave at a trading confo, he kind of got jittery cause it wasn't just the 2 of us there but basically he admitted that he doesn't trade by himself, he entrusts other ppl etc... sorry to burst yr little bubble bud'...

am unsubscribed to this thread.... with an OP post like that, can't be worth a penny

Michael Covel got jittery in public because YOU asked him if he trades?

That's like saying YOU (wildebeest) walked up to a blackmaned lion in his prime and asked him if he had made a kill recently and the lion farted, shook his mane and walked off.

Covel has put out some excellent work on trend following. It is the best book I've read but still eclipsed by the towering giant, "TA of stock trends 9th ed." - which flogs all the classics listed at ET including that bum book, "rem-in-issss-en-es of a cock operator"

Since Covel has a license to hunt, kill and maim at ET without intervention by the EPA and others, I wish him success and hope he gets them all. The market will kill us all anyway, so its just a question of will Covel get fed while the market fcks him too - or not?

Either way I'm way past giving a flyin fck.
