Dual monitor problems

You'll need something like that if you're trying to drive 3 or 4 monitors from a notebook, but otherwise all you need is 2 relatively modern dualhead cards... $20-$50, if you buy used on eBay.

(Before when I asked about "special device, video card?", I was going for humorous sarcasm. However, Scalper didn't laugh.... guess I wouldn't be laughing either if I found I'd spent $300 to accomplish a $20 objective. :D )

I have 2 dual ATI cards,, they arent anything special, one of the cards was the original card that came with my dell, apparenlty it is important to use the same video card manufacturer for both cards so little chance of conflicts.

Maybe, take your computer to your local computer shop and tell them what you want, thats what I did, and got everything done bought card and install for around 100 bucks, cheap cheap, not worth the agrivation of doing it yourself.

If you guys are curious to know how I fixed my monitor issue, I connected my second monitor straight to the onboard video port instead of the second vga head of my video card. I was able to configure the resolution on the onboard card. Good luck to all and thanks for the feedback.
