DPD: Snipers Shoot 10 Officers, 3 Dead

You mean remain calm until the investigation is thrown out the window without any further consequences to officers who abused their positions abd took an innocent life?

To be fair, I agree that I have significant concerns about the two recent police shootings in Minnesota and Baton Rouge. I expect that the car stop in Minnesota will eventually lead to an indictment of the officer who did the shooting. I do not expect indictment for the Baton Rouge because when you are resisting officers and rolling on the ground not following their instructions then it will be difficult to hold the officers legally accountable.

The bottom line is that people should demand a complete investigation of these police shootings but remain calm while a in-depth investigation is done which takes time.

However these shootings do not give the supporters of BLM the right to go around and shoot police officers in twisted retaliation. Leading politicians should voice their support for police rather than jumping on the bandwagon of supporting criminals such as Michael Brown after each episode.

Well said, though I have to raise some question about "desperation". No one of sound mind, even if unemployed, is starving or freezing to death, our basic needs are being met, and much more for most. Yet, we're still highly dissatisfied. Lends some weight to the relative deprivation hypothesis, no?
Essentially what you say is true in the main. And nearly all of us are rich compared to the general population in some nations. But are those the nations we should be comparing ourselves to?

Because we are not one country in some very important ways, we still have people who, though not starving or freezing, are living desperate lives nonetheless, and not always of their own making. For example, in some of our States where Medicaid was not expanded, single adults with no dependents whose income is too small to qualify for insurance subsidy have no access to medical care other than through "treat and street" emergency room visits. It is an arguable point, but many of us believe that access to medical care is now, in the 21st Century, a "basic need". That need is only very inadequately being met in a surprising number of localities in the U.S. And the proof of this are the different health and longevity profiles as a function of income. One of our goals as a nation should be to make health as independent of income as reasonably possible. We could use the standards of other nations as a guide to what's achievable, and then work toward that end.

Every innocent life, taken, is relevant on either side you fuckwit

This is only the beginning. Expect more. You can bet your last buck gangbangers in every inner city are making plans.
Here's the thing. The BLM movement in it's entirety is based on a lie, the lie that came out of Ferguson. The BLM movement will not have any credibility, none at all, until they quit combining thugs getting killed and the occasional innocent black man getting killed, or when the police do truly over react and improperly handle a situation. The later are few in number and that is at the crux of the problem. The BLM movement and Race baiting Inc. want everyone to think that the number of truly innocent people getting killed in much higher than it actually is. They are not as relevant without this inflated number.
Any time that the police over react and a person ends up dead or seriously injured, that's a problem. It's a big f'n problem, and we expect those police to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Another problem is we see that people in power are being given a pass, from the rogue cop, Wall Street thugs raping the financial system, Hillary Clinton and her shenanigans, etc. ,etc., all of it fuels the rage in the streets. Add it all up, and it's a country coming apart at the seams.

You are slightly confused. There is a white cop overreach on blacks and as a result many blacks needlessly had to die before this retaliation happened. Call it hate crime or whatever you want. Fact remains that the level of discrimination is not bearable for some at the fringes of society anymore. You can blame whoever you want and think whatever but it does not make the problem go away.

So far this year, 566 people have been killed by the police. 136 of those have been black. That means that 24% were black and 76% were not. Why do people like you only seem to bring up and give a crap about a police officer killing someone when they're skin is a certain color?

Are you dumb? Of course they are blaming the police and rightly so. Police and law enforcement are held to a higher standard and when they start executing random people something in the police training and control is clearly out of whack. How would you treat cops who start raping kids, including your child in your neighborhood tomorrow?

So the leading politicians should support justice -- in this case they should be stating "We need to support the police and give time for a complete investigation to be done of this shooting instead of jumping to conclusions on initial information which are usually incorrect."

Instead a number of politicians immediately jump on the bandwagon after any incident involving a cop shooting a black man -- they are out in the media immediately blaming the police and stirring the racial pot.

And we should be outraged about any police killer who takes the innocent lives of others.

I find a significant difference between a situation where a cop improperly shoots an individual and most civilians (and other officers) demand that the cop be held accountable after a complete investigation, ---- and a large scale, planned terrorist attack by BLM supporters which killed and wounded many police officers. The terrorist event should certainly carry much more outrage.

I guess you didn't live through the 1970s when the Black Liberation Army was murdering officers left & right. BTW one of the two officers they assassinated on January 27, 1972 in NYC was my uncle's good friend. My uncle was also a NYC cop. We should be outraged by any attack that deliberately targets police officers.

Who was it who said, "that whore, Reason!" What did he mean? He meant that "somehow", she always seems to be in bed with the moneyed class.

Yeah, let's have all the politicians immediately jump on to the false narrative of "hands up, don't shout" and further spew this lie forward. Of course, the politicians (and characters like Al Sharpton) are merely using these events to raise money and get their name in the media. They actually care very little about seeing justice through. In fact, a lack of justice in a case helps out their cause & fund raising.

In my opinion, anyone walking down the street shouting "Hands up, don't shoot" or "What do we want. Dead cops" should be arrested for making terrorist threats. These were readily present at all the previous BLM protests, usually right before the protestors rioted & trashed the city.
