Just like the Brits (people from the United Kingdom) - the greatest complainers of ALL nationalities, proven, recorded and cast in stone.
In any expat country, a single Brit or group meeting another person or just discussing amongst themselves, complaints are the dominant theme. And the casual newbie would be thrown off course thereby making an erroneous decision/choice were he to listen to this mumbo-jumbo.
Here's what fires off the TRUTH in spades and what yours truly ALWAYS uses to silence BRITS in an instant - and do they like me? Fck no, they can't stand me, but would they ever fck with this american? Dream on! They give me a wide berth and rightly so.
Lesson/fact: every year without fail they renew their visa to stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DB you have raised an interesting question of who complains the most. I would say within America Red Sox fans complain the most followed by potential terrorists-- neither of them leave the country either.
On the grand scale, I'm not sure with their history of soldiering on in times of trouble, that the Brits would be my top choice-- indeed they complain mostly about the weather and taxes two nearly uncontrollable factors of life.
A study was recently done of consumers around the globe. I present it below, as a culture I have heard Singaporians complain an awful lot.... here are the results:
The MOST COMPLAINING SOCIETY IS.... SWEDEN!!!! What! Land of young and free sex and chocolate??? Yup 41% of Sweden has complained recently in some sort of customer service forum. #2- is your England DB! Nice observation, I would of thought lower- 36% complain there, followed by Australia 30%, Canada 26% and the USA with 23%.
The least likely to complain were the people of Taiwan with just 1% saying they had made a customer service complaint in the last year, followed by Saudi Arabia 3%, China 4%, Poland 5% and Russia with 6%. Itv should be mentioned that in taiwan, saudia arabia, china and Russia you can get rubbed out for complaining and in Poland it is often confused with complimenting. Where is IRAN and the Taliban on this list?
The researchers, NOP World interviewed more than 30,000 customers in 30 different countries, asking a cross section of customers if they had made a customer service complaint against a company or organization in the last year.
The research also found that across the world those who make customer service complaints tend to be wealthier and better educated. This is probably because they consume more, they know what they want, and they arenât prepared to settle for second rate service.

Hey DB. Rough weekend end for me. Blew out a left rear tire on I-84 at full speed with 4 aboard and a dog. Had a nice area to pull off-- that's one of my biggest fears getting my family wiped out by a drunk driver while on the side of the road-- but the wait for help was endless. I broke down exactly between Ct and NY state. So the first tow truck guy came from Ct and turned back because AAA had given him the wrong side of the highway (They Suck!) and the NY guy probably saw us but he stopped because we were in Ct! Which I knew but dumb ass AAA said we were in NYS! Arrrrrg! And now I worry about the recording-- my poor wife on her birthday no less-- trying to deal with an operator and me in the backround screaming SEND A F*ING TRUCK IN BOTH DIRECTIONS UNTIL SOMEONE HITS US!!!! NOW!!!!! I have a child in the car etc. TELL THEM WE ARE IN CT NOT NY STATE!!! 3 times they got that wrong! It was maddening.
Blown left front axle too. OUR RECENTLY DATED TOP CALL seems tight DB despite the golden cross which you did not address. Apple is down after earnings, I knew I was right to sell at $265! All these stupid F5 type Riverbed names short at will DB.~ stoney
