Quote from Don Bright:

OK, small opening...AOL only, made 12 cents ($240).

Watching carefully this morning, as we are nearing the 9000 dow mark...which is, of course, a major psychological resistance point.

Volatility is increasing somewhat.

Whenever we "expect" something like the "Summer Doldrums"....be cautious..
we could have some good trading days ahead.

Don

Yup, June and July last year were wonderfully volatile.

2 for 2 today....up $580 (29 cents).

Just checking to see if you guys are still reading this thread....and hope that you're doing well.

Not much "interaction" lately....just hoping that you are all doing well.

.7 envelope TXN and CCU....

Can anyone suggest some really good news vendors available for subscription via a data/info provider like ILX/AT Financial or REDI or via the internet? Ones where you can find timely (early) proprietary info like upgrades/downgrades, earnings guidance, etc. as opposed to Reuters or Dow Jones where you're the last to know.
Thanks

Dow Jones is good, but only if you get the Broadtape Headlines service. Dow Jones Online News which some services offer is really lagging.

Busy Monday....I lost 6 cents in WMT this morning.....as I didn't want to be concerned with it while waiting for FRE to open......as it turns out, I "shoulda" held on a bit longer. -$120....
