Kind of boring this morning....KRB and TXN, about $260....

Some of these brokers are interesting for pairs trading these days....be careful on the short term breakouts of range....

What happens is the the traders tend to short the stronger stock, and buy the weaker stock....at too short of intervals....this is a real problem. You need to check for news items (of course), and whatever other "engine" is running the move (Like the Senate hearings on the NYSE)......So tread softly.

(Not a big "ad" this time....I'm a little tired....from "sweepstakes night" ...last night of bowling.....shot 223, 187, and 196, I think).....Not too bad for an old guy!

(off topic) Yeah, not bad for an old guy. We had our sweeps last Wednesday. Had 210, 222, 256, and 214. Only if these OO's were that easy!

Heard you guys might have some bowling lanes in your house. Is that true?

No lanes in the house yet, but we're thinking about it (we need the practice).

Were those your scratch scores?? Pretty good.....(we bowl in a mixed handicap league, but I posted my scratch games).

Yep, those were scratch. I'm in a scratch league, but they calculated scores based on handicap so I didn't win much. Maybe if this trading thing doesn't work out, Bright can sponsor me on Tour.

Made $200 in WMT (got out just in the nick of time, at 56.00).

I expected a little more reaction to the possible Al-Quaeda attack in Saudi Arabia, but not too bad.!!

Had a room full of students, and was a bit too conservative....but got filled on 2 stocks, made $300 (15 cents).....(Shoulda held on to TXN for 5 more minutes and 30 more cents....darn!!)..

Back to you tomorrow.......Hope to see some Denver traders next Wednesday!!

Textbook opening on Monday. 4 for 4, Plus $700 (35 cents).

First day the new bootcampers are doing OO orders, and now I have to go to Denver for a couple of days. I spent a couple of hours with them this AM, just to be sure that they will be doing the openings while I'm away.

Denver Traders, don't forget about Wednesday after the close!!

Great and quick opening. Filled on 3, +$1120 in about 4 minutes.

In Denver with the crew, had ET witnesses!!
