I didn't get MRK today....but got filled on 6, 4 profitable, +$450...

Pretty low volatility now, and probably will be until mid September....adjust accordingly. Smaller envelopes, a bit more patience.

don.should the average size of a stocks first print influence the selection of that stock for an oo play?
it seems to me that you want a large enough print so that the specialist has to reach for shares in the case of a long.if he has to reach for shares it seems like he would be more likely to make the first print more extreme to ensure he can replace those shares at a profit or if he has to short to fill the order he can cover at a profit.tia
 
Had 5 fills, all long, and had 4 winners. My only loser was GE, a .05 loss. Sold the four winners to soon, if i had held two minutes longer it would have been a big day.

Missed getting a fill on MRK by a dime.
