Don Bright

There are more things to life than trading. humility for one is characterized by the good book that gets your further in life with people than Having a Large Bank Account, Assets under management etc etc.

I went to a wealth Seminar, and after 15minutes of sitting there Don, you sat there expecting everyone to do everything as you sat there. To me you do not inspire me to trade what so ever.

I got up and walked out, and was not impressed.

If you gave me a Million dollars to trade I would turn it down.

Your Leadership is slack by the number of Traders that you have mentor, or as many that look to you as an authority.

1. Yes those Wealth expo's tend to suck, we have changed that whole approach to awareness.

2. Yes, I should lose a bunch of weight..for every "yin" there seems to be a "yang" of some sort.

3. We have hundreds of traders who do well, and have come to here to begin their careers, sorry if trading isn't for you.

4. There is an ignore button for your use, and to be quite frank with you, I wish some of these "Bright" threads weren't here either. I do have a responsibility to our family to clarify things from time to time.

This thread is going down hill fast. Come on guys, there are some people on this thread that actually want to know what Bright has to offer, for better or for worse. Stay on topic.

How do you get .003? Just taking liquidity on ARCA costs that much, without clearing, overhead, etc., so I don't understand how anyone could make any money offering that deal.

It would make sense for this person to take 10% of their $5,000 and trade Index options.

Take a position or two in a put on the index or etf and roll it over 2, 3 or 6 times up to $3,000. Take that experience and leverage it over the next 3 months and then take your combined balances which would normally exceed the $25,000 for the PDT rule and go see Don Bright, and then....

see how much more you can learn at their shop!

You only get two of the three. Never all Three. Knowing nothing about Don Bright except what I've read, and how I see him respond to these "questions", he is nicer than me, he could be a bit more expensive than the competition, and he is deligent about growing his business. Great threads to read, though.

I don't think you ever answered my question. What percentage of traders at your firm trade futures? And what access do you offer to the FX market?

I happened to come across your post regarding Don Bright and just had to respond. Your assesment is right on the money and I can verify it because I was the Bright Trading manager for the *removed to keep identity safe*. I quit because of the constant abuse from not Don but Brother Bob. And by the way Don is nothing in Bright Trading. Bob Bright runs the show top to bottom and his policies are nothing short of inane. Every policy enacted at Bright is for the sole purpose of stacking the deck in his favor. I could go on and on but one absolute fact remains! Why if Bright is such a great firm have over 1000 traders signed up, observed how the firm operates, and then have left??? Including Bob's 50/50 partner Eddie Franco.

I give you this information and would only ask that you not reveal the source.

Interesting information I am being given.

Former employees of Bright Trading are not happy at all.

Almost alarming really. Bright Trading really not all it's cracked up to be?

Just thought this was very interesting stuff.

Or are your former employees just lying for no reason at all?

Definately alarming news, makes me question the integrity of Bright Trading completely. I thought it was about the traders?

Also, could you please explain why your 50/50 partern left BT?


Are my assumptions correct, that you do seem desperate for traders and are hellbent on putting down all other firms because Bright Trading is now in trouble?

It's kinda ironic, but amazing at the same time how I was right on, and now I have former employees taking the time to inform me of this.

What goes around comes around....
