DOJ reopened Hillary's email case and considering plea deal?

Because Obama/Clinton officials are still running things. Tillerson has been slow to replace them at State and Sessions is a very weak leader whom no one at Justice fears.

Yeh. there is that for sure but it is also more than that. It is not Trump vs. the Democrats. It is Trump vs. the Democrats and Republican establishment. Started way back in the primaries. You have republicans actively trying to undermine him but you also have a lot mccain-lindsey graham- paul ryan types who just dont want him to go down the road of outright warfare with the witchhunters and the democrats and the deep staters.

In fact- although Trump needs to avoid going over the top and sabotaging himself- he needs to go after the dems and hillary legacy bigly instead of just watching meuller preparing to drop bombs. He needs to open up another front and flood the zone with shiite on the dems so that when it comes election time people just say (as they did in the last election) that yes their is stuff on trump, but there is stuff on the dems too and it goes with the turf.

Instead, the republican puzzies- not all- want him to go the high road and just praise mueller for his service and stay above all the hillary and wasserman dirt and let that fade into history. Meanwhile Mueller just hired a pantload of fuckers who left million dollar a year plus legal jobs. They aren't leaving the investigation until they have found or manufactured dirt.

Go on the offensive. McCain wants to go down in history as Mr. Bipartisan. Frig him. It is not all about him. Start discrediting both mueller and the democrats and keep it up as relentlessly as they will be.

its not the gossip story that makes her guilty as sin... it simply triggers our hope the swamp will be cleaned and Hillary will have her day in court. I have a slight hope that she gets her day in court.

I would like to see if she can convince her peers... not democrats but everyone that she is innocent. As as far as I am concerned justice will be served even if she were to be found innocent after a fair trial.

I am a process guy.
fair enough, but to go forward, first a court must be convinced there is enough credible evidence of not merely poor judgement, or mistakes, but actually wrong doing, and no matter what the rules say, it's the law that matters. Furthermore, many statutes leave room for interpretation. Even though we say ignorance of the law and/or good intentions are no defense, in actual practice understanding of the law and intentions matter. These considerations along with stare decisis are going to bear on the decision whether to prosecute. From my fairly extensive experience with handling classified documents, and the information made public, I think Comey was correct not to recommend prosecution. It would have been an expensive political exercise and a waste of time as well as money.

Nope. No crabwalk away from it. I am okay with how you put it. Loretta was conflicted and Comey said he felt queasy about her conflict, yet she -just as you said- just played a charade of recusing but actually remained as the final decisionmaker. Yup. We agree on that.
Lunch recused from making a decision, she didn't recuse from executing a decision reached by others

Let me get this straight, a notorious liar who has scammed all his life including paying 25 million in damages for Trump U, who even hides his tax return is going to clean the swamp? Should this be in a joke thread?

You put two lawyers in a room and you have six different opinions. Yes, stare decisis is a factor but meanwhile there is an investigation going on with trump that will include plenty of uncharted territory. Guess what? That ain't gonna stop anything.

There is sufficient basis for putting it before a grand jury. Let them decide whether to go forward or not. The issue that many conservatives or non-lefties have is not that hillary has not been convicted of anything.....it is that the case has not been pursued professionally. So if a grand jury does not indict ....then so be it. If they do ....well then they do. Same scenario trump faces right?

I hear your points but let me say this. If a special "counsel" for hillary had been appointed as should have been- and a pantload of highly paid legal beagles were leaving their regular jobs to get in on the action, then hillary would be going down. So yeah, there is the legal nitty gritty but then there is the atmospherics around it. Similarly, if a special counsel had been appoint for hillary, they would then be expanding over into the foundation activities - just as we see with trump- so we would not just be talking about the specifics of emails. It would be much, much more than that. And frig Comey, he is a political hack, who screwed up everything he touched- including letting mccabe run hillary's investigation.

Let the grand jury decide what the next step is.

What happened to the previous so called foundation investigation? Oh wait, that was a lie.

It's amazing how you guys keep ignoring actual criminal investigation into both Trump and his foundation while imagining worse scenarios for Clintons. One is being investigated by their own DOJ, other were investigated for 30 years and you got nothing.

last were heard it was still going on.
that investigation does not seem to have any leaks.

Heard from who? Fox News? Nobody legit has reported that there is even an investigation, let alone it's 'going on'.
