God's creature was trying to make a sacrament of his body...can you blame the creature? They entered the Ark and came out wanting to be like man, only to see a reflection of their image

But saying that, there is some good in Christianity, just don't become a cultist zealot.

You are talking down to me, I've possibly spent more time in church and reading the bible and watching religous movies than you have.
I'll tell you a true story.
I was once for many years a member of AOG (Assemblies of God, very large church) [Among other churches I've attended or been a member of].
They had a charismatic healing pastor visit once and thru his gift of the gab smooth talking had a type healing alter call at the end of the service.
There were several hundred people in the congregation.
Now, they've had healing ministries before but this guy was a super smooth bs artist and knew how to pull on emotions.
When he made his call, about 90% of the gathered congregation went forward to be healed. Laying on of hands, you know the stuff.
What I'm trying to say, nigh on the whole church people were sick of one type or another.
So much for Jesus blessing of his children, shouldn't be so sick to start with if Jesus is in their life.
This was many years ago and I'll never forget it, nearly the whole bloody church was full of sick people. This was New Zealand, country city, NewPlymouth, healthy environment.
You would think Christian would have abundant life, not so, no different from man on the street Joe Bloggs, maybe even worse off seeming they carry guilt and could be shipped off to hell if they don't tow the line.

Just wanted to correct the "PS: No-one is righteous."
Although it is true that no one is righteous in and of themselves, the Bible does teach that some have been given the righteousness of God, as a free gift. These are who the Bible is referring to when it refers to believers as those who are righteous.
Noah, Jesus, Lot, Joseph of Arimathea, Abel, Joseph, Cornelius, John the Baptist, Zacharias, Elisabeth and Simeon were all called righteous in the Bible. Yet a few of them have sinful behavior recorded in the Bible. So, then, how can an unrighteous person be righteous? Remember Abraham? Abraham received righteousness as a credit, so that God saw him as righteous, even though he continued to sin.
Abram believed the LORD, and He credited it to him as righteousness.

Not trying to talk down to you, but it wouldn't be right for me to agree with you that God does not intervene in my life, because He does. And He has answered many of my prayers. What am I suppose to say, He hasn't? Or just let you say what you want and not at least tell you that my experience has been different than yours?
The Bible is the only reliable source of truth. What churches practice don't always line up with what is in the Bible.
In the Bible, there have been miraculous signs recorded, both in the Old Testament as well as the New Testament. The disciples of Jesus were given by God special abilities to heal, at times. However, there is nothing recorded in the Bible of anything resembling a healing service as an instruction to churches. I do not see any examples of healing services taking place in the New Testament churches. I do see, in the Bible, occasional miraculous healings that took place.
Paul had a serious problem he called his thorn in the flesh that he prayed to God about, to have it removed. God answered Paul by saying that His grace was sufficient for him (Paul). He did not remove the "thorn in the flesh." Paul seems to have had a serious problem with his eyes later in life, which may have been the "thorn in the flesh." Paul was an apostle who had Jesus appear to him many times, yet he was not healed. Paul wrote to Timothy giving him some advice for Timothy's frequent stomach troubles. Epaphras was sick to the point of nearly dying. He did recover, but it appears it was a long illness. So, sickness was recorded in the Bible among the early church leaders and they were not instantaneously healed. It is said of Epaphras, after his long illness that God had mercy on him. So, God eventually chose to heal him. I believe God does provide healing as He chooses, and that He does work in answer to our prayers, according to His will.
God is not a genie in a bottle that we command.
