If God revealed Himself clearly to everyone, then any reconciliation/submission would be out of obligation. Like a Master and slave relationship. Obedience would be forced and not from a loving relationship. The Bible teaches that the motivation for obedience to God should be love for Him.

Is there anything that would convince you that God exists, yet not overpower your will so that your submission to God is forced rather than choice? I'm really curious about this. I hope you give an honest answer.

Think about it this way: If God is looking for those who want Him, not who are forced to choose Him against their will, then the fact that God does not force Himself upon anyone reveals the true nature of their heart.

Is the reason you are not a believer in God truly because of a lack of evidence, or is it because you reject God because you do not like Who He is, as revealed in the Bible?

Setting aside all of the pre-existing comments (including the right before), we might agree that:
1. the power of prayer might be applicable to successful trading (or winning the lottery) as much as it is to all things in life... and
2. God, Jesus, religious based powers etc. are used in selling futures trading strategies, programs and memberships. Why else would Alla Peters of Fibonacci Trading Institute trumpet to the world that she has God's Vision to see price patterns.

If there was not the threat of hell I bet Christianity would be obsolete, think about it, Americans are obsessed with Guns and God which equals fear imo, so Christians aren't so much driven by salvation, but rather guilt and damnation. So you're not activated by love but self preservation.

There are many advantages to Christianity or many religions, social contacts, networking, music, education, assistance (thinking Salvation Army type) and the teachings of love and charity etc is great.
Where it falls down imo, cultist adherence to not changing, not growing, examples dinasours once were disbelieved by the church as well as evolution. They hated Charles Darwin.
Then we have gay people, Church despised them but I think it may be coming round.
Same with women leaders, church forbade that etc.
Christians believe in fundamentals of the bible, they can't think for themselves, spoon fed bs from the stupid pulpit. Naive and gullible.
Thankfully some in the Church are level headed, intelligent, think laterally and don't soak up all the sop.
