I wrote what I wrote because we need to find out what works and what doesn't. Who has the ideas? Not the republicans, only the democrats. One can argue, quite easily that their ideas are horrible. Whatever, let's find out. Then we know, right? The republicans have nothing, absolutely nothing which they can agree upon. In that case we just need to start crossing stuff off the list. Great, Carbon tax. Let's see how that helps. Open the borders. Fantastic, lets see where that goes. Lower taxes? Nonsense, raise them. Medicare for everyone. Sounds good to me. How it gets paid for, who the hell knows, lets give it a whirl. This is where we're at and all because a Republican President, a Republican congress and a Republican senate can't pass a single fucking bill even thought they don't need one fucking democratic vote. How fucked up is that? I cannot, and will not support a party with a dick so limp.

The problem with the right on ET is they are the types who always want to blow it up, tear it down, start from scratch or clean the slate.

Real men abide* and get their hands into the mess, working to fix it with what they have available, however they can and however long it takes. I've seen a lot of lives & marriages held together by real men who don't keep trying to find tricks and gimmicks to make their lives easier or shoulder less responsibility.

Brain scans show that far right wingers have a low ability to self-detect error. When you don't sense and even when you become dimly aware of mistakes, just forget them, it is easy to think its the other guy who is wrong all the time... Ignorance is literally bliss.
