A lot of the lefties pretend to be happy about a pending daca deal but all the lefty political hacks are not happy with it at all because they are haters and only interested in elections. Since all of their candidates are losers they are depending on trump doing something ugly with daca so that they can use it to fuel their hate machine going in to the elections.
Dont let the lefties kid you. They become depressed real fast if trump does something that does not work for them politically. I ran into a lefty teacher friend in the coffee shop the other day and he had a big cheshire cat smirk on his face about how all the republiicans were pissed because Trump would not agree to flood disaster relief allegedly. I said that was bull. The opposite was true. He said, "okay, well what are they all mad at him about then?" I said, oh, he immediately agreed with the democrats to do a three month extension of the debt ceiling to keep the flood relief going and to take that issue off the table- but the conservatives wanted to hold out for some things they wanted." Bottom line: He started looking glum when I reported that the flood relief was in progress and that trump was taking heat for siding with democrats. The normal mind would think he would be happy. But no, the lib mind searches for hate material that can be weaponized for an election. If none is found, they go flaccid because they dont really care about the issues.

It's a mental illness with them. Just look at the ones on this site - always angling for the chance to show how their party can capitalize on the error of the other team. Sheer glee when the other side makes an error, never pointing out any such mistakes on the other side of the aisle. And issues? Who cares about issues, unless they can score a point.
I think this is great news. Next move should be Trump teaming up with Bernie and Medicare for all. Republicans in congress are useless. Republican strategist Steve Schmidt urged President Donald Trump and House Speaker Paul Ryan to fight back against the “Breitbart wing” of the GOP before they lose their legislative majority — and their jobs.
Schmidt said former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, who returned to his old job overseeing Breitbart News, didn’t want to compromise with conservatives, but instead wants his right-wing allies to dominate the Republican Party.
“(Ryan) doesn’t understand the nature of the fight he’s in,” Schmidt told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “He’s weak and doesn’t understand how to wield political power. He has a powerful office, but he doesn’t understand, I think, the nature of the fight he’s in.”
Schmidt mocked immigration hardliners as gullible for believing Trump’s campaign promises, and he compared Rep. Steve King (R-IA) to a snakehandling Pentecostal preachers.
“The most amusing thing, it’s just kind of — thinking about this last night when it broke, I said, are these guys, the Steve Kings of the world, I said is it possible these people are dumb enough to believe — like the guy who picked up the rattlesnake this summer and kissed it on the nose and got bit in the face,” Schmidt said. “Are they so dumb they didn’t see this coming? That they believed Donald Trump believed this stuff?”

He apparently slept through the last election or he would have realized that out of 21 or so candidates in both parties, Trump was the only one who took the America first position on immigration, trade and foreign affairs.
