I think you all missed the point of his last post. If he thinks a Corvette rides too rough, he sure as hell won't like the way a Ferrari rides.
Anyway, if he hasn't got the bucks for a new one, how's he going to pay for repairs/maint on an old one. For example, on my BMW M Roadster, replacing the fuel pump, relay, and wiring harness costed $4200 and took 2 weeks. Imagine what repairs would be on a Ferrari. On my Formula or trans Am I bet it would be under $500.
Go find one of those new GTO's or a low miles 2000-2002 Trans Am. They have gobs of power, don't cost a lot to buy/feed/maintain, and are both comfortable and great fun to drive. The GM V8's with 6 spds are wickedly quick and good for 27 mpg out on the highway. Don't get red. They are ticket magnets.
