Put your friend forward to corroborate your story. She fails to do just that and then explain it away. The friend then says she believes Ms. Ford. Based on what? Their long time friendship.
"I don't remember that incident or that guy or that night but my buddy says it's so and I believe him."
Fortunately none of that holds up in court.
Does any of that even make any sense to you as being credible?

Investigate the allegations, that's all that is asked
They did, and no one could substantiate her claims, not even her so called witnesses.
You don't want an investigation, you want a certain outcome. Be honest.
So far as the first accuser, I'm a bit confused by the.... mechanics.
It seems like we are talking about someone badgering or coercing a woman for oral sex as I'm pretty sure you cannot forcibly make someone do that. I'm a little unclear on exactly when badgering or coercion became sexual assault.

“I have no memory of this alleged incident,” “do not recall the party” and “never saw Brett act in the manner Dr. Ford describes.”
Thanks for clearing that up. Maybe someone in Texas on trial for a murder there can call me as witness next week so that I can say that I dont recall being there and seeing it BUT, HEY, THAT DOES NOT MEAN IT DID NOT HAPPEN. Nice witness ya got there.

Reminds me of the Justin Smollet case. Still no hard evidence of those two alleged attackers on video. Police now saying they will charge him if proven that he made it up. All these frauds need to be prosecuted under the law! Not only do they waste valuable police and FBI resources for other "real" victims out there, they put other people's lives in jeopardy and waste US taxpayers monies to boot!
