Do the math!!

I find it interesting that people will tend to support a candidate because he's leading. In effect, they are allowing voters in earlier primaries to make their decision for them. Shouldn't the votes and delegates from the last states to vote count just as much?

I also don't understand the argument that obama should get it because "he's ahead" and if he doesn't get it, Hillary will have "stolen it." The rules require a certain number of delegates. If you don't have that number, you are not entitled to anything and if you lose, no one "stole" anything from you. You just lost. I do understand that this type of logical reasoning is totally alien to most democrat voters, and they will be struggling with their raging emotions all through the remainder of the primary season and through the convention.

Meanwhile, the biggest comeback story in the primary season has to be Rush Limbaugh. He looked irrelevant when McCain got the republican nomination, but Operation Chaos has put him back in the thick of things. There's a reason they call him the Great One.

It is ironic that Democrats whine and moan that Algore won the poplular vote but lost the college vote, when their own nomination electoral system is even more skewed against the popular vote than the general election is. The delegate and super delegate system completely discounts the popular vote, but the elites in the party want to change the rules midstream - what a completely screwed up party...

I hope they have capes. It would be no fun if the superdelegates dont have capes.
I hope they try to fly... it wouldn't be much fun without a big juicy "splatt" or two! :)

Barack Obama Rumors
Posted by Frank J. at 12:53 PM
There have been many rumors about Senator Barack Obama, so I thought I'd check on how which ones are true if any:

RUMOR: Obama is a Muslim.
STATUS: False
Obama is not currently a Muslim. He's a Christian of some sort in the "hate Whitey" sect.

RUMOR: Obama is an enlightened space alien sent to save humanity.
STATUS: False
All evidence points towards Obama being a below average man who his wife stopped asking to do chores around the house because he was always getting his head stuck in the mop bucket.

RUMOR: Obama tried to bomb the Pentagon.
STATUS: False
That was his friend.

RUMOR: Obama felt we got what we deserved on 9/11.
STATUS: False
That was his other friend.

RUMOR: Obama was once a hired goon for the Aquaman villain Black Manta.
STATUS: False
While Obama has served on a number of committees and attended a fundraiser hosted by Black Manta, Obama has never worked for him. His campaign has on numerous occasions called it out of bounds to draw connections between Obama and the terrorists, hatemongers, and supervillians he happens to hang around with in his spare time.

RUMOR: Obama has great judgment.
STATUS: False
In recent cognitive psychology study, Obama was shown two of the same type glasses filled with liquid and agreed that each has the same amount of liquid. He then watched as one was poured into a tall, thin glass. When asked which glass had more liquid, he pointed to the taller glass.

RUMOR: Obama once bowled a perfect 300.
STATUS: False
Obama once bowled a 3, which some consider to be the perfect number in a non-bowling context.

RUMOR: Obama is a member of radical black separatist groups and considers himself racially superior to all others.
STATUS: False
He does not consider himself racially superior since he's half white.

RUMOR: Obama can fly.
STATUS: False
Obama is subjected to the laws of gravity the same as anyone else, something he found out the hard way when he put on a red sheet and jumped off the garage at the age of thirty.

RUMOR: Obama has read War and Peace six times.
STATUS: False
Obama is barely literate.

RUMOR: Obama has super-strength and is immune to bullets.
STATUS: False
Obama often has his wife open the jar of marinated artichoke hearts for him. He is scared of guns and anything else that makes a loud noise.

RUMOR: Obama cares about the average man.
STATUS: Somewhat True
Obama cares about people who shop at Whole Foods and laugh at the religious whom he mistakenly believe to be the average man.

RUMOR: Obama is a teenage mutant ninja turtle in disguise.
STATUS: Indeterminate
While Obama does love pizza and shouts cowabunga on occasion, there is no known evidence of his ninja or turtle skills.

RUMOR: Obama would be a great presidential candidate.
STATUS: False
I'm not even sure where that one got started.

:) :) :)

Quote from insider trading:

So far that isn't working

I don't really think she wants the nomination this year.she is to far behind and has to steal it from Obama or a major scandal needs to unfold

If shes steals the nomination, she losses the black vote,a vote that every democrat needs to win

McCain even knows this, that is why is now going to black areas trying to get on the good side of African Americans,so that they just don't just stay home if Hilary steals it,but that he gets some of that vote

African Americans will be pissed if she steals it,many blacks will vote for McCain

Hilary will lose alot of support if shes steals it.she has a better chance in 2012 saying i told you so with the Us still in Iraq and what ever other war mad man McCain will have started
Not sure what you mean by "steal". If she manages to arm twist more delegates at the convention than Obama why would you define that as "steal"? That is how nomination conventions work...

If Obama wins the Democratic electoral/delegate vote, and he wins the popular vote, and the super delegates give it to Hilary, whats the point of having primaries ?

why make candidates campaign for almost 2 years, spend hundreds of millions of dollars, make voters take off work to vote, and ask supporters to give hundreds of millions of dollars if the winner of the popular and delegate vote is not going to get the nomination?

You can make the argument about FL and MI,but the supporters and voters from those states knew their votes would not count.thats not the case with the rest of the states

the reason most people think they have a say in the presidential selection process is that the media keeps telling them they live in a democracy. LOL

What's the point of Gore winning the popular vote in the 2000 election when the Electoral College voted in Bush?
