All laws come from God. We know this because the guy writing them down says so.

but... whether fundamental core rights come from the Creator matters not. Our founders wrote it that way to prevent kings, commies, socialists dictators and any other leader form kings and despots whether they be communists, socialists or dictators from taking our core rights away.

I don't want someone pretending they speak with God from taking away my rights regardless of which God they claim to speak with.
That is my kind of classical liberalism... old school constitutional rights regardless of who is in charge. I don't want my team to have too much power any more than I want your team to have it.
