sorry to sound sceptical but I fail to see any advantage in ticker tape reading rather than plotting prices on a chart???I am an old cynic , but to be honest I don't buy it , I'm sure the source seems reliable to you , that this is niether chance or falsehood ,but this stuff is not for me .

Sorry jjf, I just can't remember the thread right now, but do a search for ticker tape and you should find it.
Henry, we will of course never know for sure if Mark is the real thing or not, the same way as many are wondering if I am the real thing or not.
This should no matter one bit, what should matter is if the words make sense, and I can honestly say that what Mark said, makes perfect sense to be, although, the only thing I am struggling a little with, is the size, meaning 5Ml.
This is big money, far beyond my reach, but again, just because I can't associate with 5Ml, this in no way means that what Mark said is not true.
Without proof, all we can do is make a judgement. That will be different for us all.

Ticker tape reading, or Time of Sales screen, is a daytraders (scalper) lifeline to the markets. It is like an umbilical cord, if it gets cut, the scalper will die.
It is used to read changes in market momentum. When a trade takes place, the transactions is for so many shares, called the size.
Reading the changes, in the size, combined with the speed of the changes, and how the spread contracts and expands with the changes in size, is a skill that requires many hrs of practice.
Master it and you can jump in just as a move is starting, and jump out just as the move is finishing.
This is the scalpers "edge", and you can't get a better one than it.
