Totally get it! Learning the ropes sometimes involves a bit of stubbornness until we figure it out.

I don’t think that the IQ has a lot to do with your succes in trading. Also, determination itself is not a guarantee of succes.
I think psychology has a huge role in one’s succes in trading.
While things like the basics of trading, trading strategy, risk management, technical analyses and even fundamental analyses can be learned by anyone, it is again not a guarantee of succes. The trading psychology is what makes the difference between the successful ones and those who fail.
However, I think with practice even this aspect can be mastered, but only if you have a mentor to give you the right guidance and of course if one is determined to succeed.
