According to online polling company Civiqs' dynamic approval rating graph, DeSantis currently has a net approval rating of negative 19 points, with an average of 55 percent of respondents disapproving of him, compared with 36 percent who have a favorable view of the Republican.
The data shows DeSantis has a major unfavorable rating from those aged 18-34 (63 percent), women (62 percent), as well as African Americans (85 percent), and the Hispanic/Latino population (68 percent).
In comparison, the Florida Governor's overall approval and disapproval rating was tied at 47 percent in early December.

Of course, we have to take their word for it since the membership data isn't shared. In fact, you have no idea what this number is to pre-pandemic because the union won't share it, despite the belief that they dropped significantly since pre-pandemic levels. This info has to be painstakingly compiled as these unions are exempt from Landrum-Griffin act filings.

Where did Trump poll before the first debate when he entered the race back in 2015? I'm only asking because you all seem so ready to call the race before the first debates. Now whether Ronnie makes it that far or not, I think you're all being a bit silly and premature. I understand you don't want him to win, but try to be objective. Just, you know, try.

How is he going to win simply going at or further right than trump? that will win a few points for primaries but trump already doing that so.....that song was played already in 2016....its 8 years later. What I'm telling you is that judging DeSantis' polling numbers and equating that to his chance to win at this point tells nothing. Just like it told nothing of Trump's chances to win back then. I don't know if DeSantis has a chance, or if he doesn't. What I do know is that its too early to pontificate on who is going to go down.
So many experts in geopolitics, or politics in general, or COVID, or whatever on this forum. We're lucky to have access to this broad expertise. Its fine to have opinions, but predictions almost never work out the way people predict things will. just look at GWB for a prime example of forecasting stupidity.
