DeSantis for the win

So you believe that the government should make healthcare decisions for children and not the parents?

Sounds like you have quite the authoritarian bent there. You are quite the little statist.

They're not making health care decisions for the parent. DeSantis says, many many times, that the parent can choose their own destiny. Its in the video several posts above. "If someone wants to vaccinate their infant they can do so through their medical provider, but the state won't sponsor this."

This is, of course the opposite of the dictator. A dictator would force people to get vaccinated or be fired (DeSantis worked against this) or require vax passports (DeSantis was against this) to get dinner or to shop, or to travel.

Statist calls people statist. Clown.

And yet -- here you are hoping the government will delay the delivery of vaccines much later than Friday -- taking healthcare decisions out of the hands of parents.

No one is delaying anything. The state government just isn't supporting it with state funds and action. That's not making something illegal or prohibited, which is what a dictator would do.

Or firing people, preventing them from traveling, etc. Stuff you know, you supported.

Publix owners -- one of the big donors to Ron DeSantis. Not surprising they suddenly are adopting his political narrative. Let's take a look at the typical announcement we see come out regularly.

Let's walk down memory lane to April of 2021, Publix was given a sweet-heart deal by DeSantis to be the sole pharmacy distributor of the vaccine early in the pandemic. Wonder how much they donated to DeSantis to land that deal. Sadly Publix now wants to avoid having to support vaccination and are doing everything to walk away from visibly supporting public health -- because they don't want to upset the local Florida dictator, Sugar Daddy DeSantis.

Maybe you think that Publix should be forced to give vaccines? Private industry, right?
