DeSantis for the win

first, Politifact is known to slant the story.

Second, nothing states it "has been fact checked as incorrect and using flawed data".

Your link says:

  • Several doctors and researchers have pointed out flaws in the report’s methodology.
But it also says

  • In a separate report, public health officials, using VAERS data that had been vetted and confirmed, have determined that there may be a link between myocarditis and vaccination, particularly among boys.

As noted -- her study was fact checked as incorrect and using flawed data. The fact check provides in-depth information on the many faults in the study including the conflict of interest -- and cites references to back up the fact check including the statement about VAERs which merely serves to demonstrate her claims about teenage boys being six times more at risk from vaccines than Covid are completely incorrect.

While there may be a relationship between myocarditis and vaccination -- the relationship between Covid infection and myocarditis is much greater. Claiming that teenage boys are six times more at risk from vaccines than Covid is simply wrong

It's interesting to note that Høeg' lost her residency with the University of California-Davis due to pushing Covid misinformation like this. The university wants to make it clear it has nothing to do with this type of misinformation despite Høeg regularly trying to push this as a study supported by the University of California.

So, not that I believe any of the nonsense you just posted, but I've got a question for you - not that you'll answer, you never do.

But you're on record around here for saying that deaths from children tied to the vaccine is BS:

So, as outlined by the CDC, you have no medically proven deaths of children tied to the vaccine — just some investigations underway. Got it.

But now you accept that there may be a relationship between myocarditis and the vaccine.

Sooo...if you were wrong before - inferring that I was posting misinformation, is it possible you can be wrong again?

As noted in articles & studies I have posted on ET the risk of myocarditis in those receiving the Covid vaccine are very rare. Nearly all the myocarditis cases associated with vaccination are mild and the young people fully recover in weeks. Myocarditis is much more prevalent in unvaccinated individuals being infected with Covid -- there is an entire thread with documented studies & evidence showing this.

At this point there are only nine medically proven deaths associated with vascular circulation issues (blood clots) and vaccination in the U.S. -- all of them involve the J&J vaccine, not the mRNA vaccines. "So far, nine deaths have been connected to the COVID-19 vaccines. Those nine were all women who developed rare blood clots in their brains after taking Johnson & Johnson's vaccine, which does not use mRNA technology." Also - "Importantly, there is no evidence that anyone who's developed myocarditis after a COVID-19 vaccination in the US has died. Most patients fully recover quickly. (There is at least one report of a sudden death outside the US: a South Korean 22-year-old.)" - article source for quotes.

So there are no deaths from myocarditis linked to vaccines according to you, but everyone else is guilty of misinformation.

And you quote a presentation that relies on VAERS data (but only some of it) after you told me several times how VAERS information is useless.

So can we use VAERS data like your sources have, or can we not, like you told me?

It is long overdue that you carefully study how the VAERS data is used in proper context by research professionals. All they amount to are unconfirmed reports that act as a starting point to be validated.

So can VAERS data be relied on or not? The presentation you quoted uses VAERS as a source, multiple times.

Once again -- carefully read how unverified data submitted in VAERS is used.

Once again, why can't you just answer the question. Can VAERS data be used or not?

Another misinformation article depending on VAERS and other self-reporting systems as a source.

Oops.

Let's fact check the VAERS nonsense being pushed by anti-vaxxers.

Oops X 2

So you are hyping VAERS death nonsense.

Oops X 3

Right. "Fact Check".

NPC points out mediabiasfactcheck.com as site to check whether sites are worthy of "truth" (to basically discredit sources he doesn't like). Then uses sites that mediabiasfactcheck.com consider "mixed factual reporting"

upload_2022-3-8_14-49-50.png

Then, NPC claims VAERS data shouldn't be used and is misinformation, but then turns around and posts source using VAERS data he likes.

Then NPC tries to wiggle his way out by bringing up articles to defend himself that only implicate further inconsistencies. Rinse, repeat.
