And yet our governor is on the air regularly urging people to take proper health precautions, urging schools use masks, urging people to get vaccinated, urging cities/counties to adopt mask mandates as their levels reach red (many have). All the while North Carolina is properly reporting daily Covid data with a portal that some have considered to be among the best in the nation. Tell us -- what is DeSantis doing in Florida to protect public health?
And its not doing a damned bit of difference.
Thanks for making my point that the virus is going to be a virus and behave accordingly regardless of the stupid mask/vaccine bullshit you push.
You better take a look at the difference in cases, hospitalizations, and deaths in Florida compared to North Carolina per the size of the population. You do realize that Florida is the epi-center of Delta and is breaking its own records every day.
Proper public health measures are very effective at reducing misery and death in a population.
Tell use when DeSantis is going to start reporting daily COVID data again. Florida is being overrun by Delta -- which morgue trucks outside of hospitals -- and DeSantis won't even report daily data. What is he hiding? Well actually he is hiding data to improve his own election chances with his base -- which is absurd in the middle of a pandemic.
Right, lets see how we do in a month vs. other states. Just because Florida went through it first (like last year) doesn't mean anything other than the virus follows a seasonal pattern. As many (including me) have been saying all along.
Sure, proper health measures are. Not disputing that. Only disputing what you consider to be "proper" having no effect at all. DeSantis, who is the very epitome of COVID evil according to you and Cooper, who is the angel of COVID according to you have very different policies (according to you) and yet both states will see the exact same pattern in virus vs. last year.
Exact. Same. Anyone with an IQ over 100 would understand this indicates that there isn't much difference in effect of policy between the two states (or any other state that will experience the same exact thing).
We're more concerned with enjoying our lives. As I've told you a dozen or so times when you parrot this same thing - call the governor if you're curious.

Actually the COVID numbers put forward by the DeSantis administration do lie -- and hide data over & over again.
Tell us once again why DeSantis has not ordered the state to provide proper daily COVID data aligned with federal standards while his state is being overrun with Delta. SAD
