Well to be fair.... I think her claim to be running for a Florida Congressional seat is simply to cast DeSantis in a bad light since now under his law the state would be required to take action and fine Twitter $250,000 per day that she is blocked as a political candidate (if she files). Forcing the state to take legal action to defend her against de-plaforming after DeSantis was so joyful she got de-platformed --- would be a tremendous kick in his rear as well as showing what a hypocrite he is if for some reason he refused to enforce his newly signed law to fine Twitter.

I doubt she seriously intends to run for a Congressional seat in Florida.
 
Florida under DeSantis becomes the first state to stop daily COVID reports -- despite Florida still being in a state of emergency. Stripped down weekly reports will contain far less data only in PDF format. The Florida COVID dashboard will no longer be updated. The new weekly reports will remove a large majority of the COVID data currently being reported such as testing information (nobody will know the positivity rate).

Other information is not only no longer being reported but being stripped from the Floridahealthcovid19.gov website. "This includes reports on associated cases in schools, associated deaths at Florida Department of Corrections facilities, and a pediatric report that showed how many children in Florida were diagnosed with MIS-C, a rare and sometimes deadly disease believed to be linked to COVID-19. A report on long-term care facilities, which had already been replaced by a less-detailed weekly report, is also gone."

Guess DeSantis really wants to hide the COVID data which conflicts with his fabricated narrative before he starts is upcoming election race.

Is New York State removing data from its COVID data dashboard, no longer providing daily results, eliminating information on positive tests, only providing information in a PDF format which can't be parsed like a spreadsheet, and doing its best to hide the COVID data.

The answer is "No, New York is not doing this. Florida is."

Go read all the other articles in the thread on the matter. Including Ron DeSantis' press release on the matter, and the Tweets from his spokesperson. Ron DeSantis is more than joyful that someone who opposes his hiding of data has been de-platformed.

I will note that reason.com which leans right has generally been supportive of DeSantis in its coverage.
