DeSantis for the win

There is also a chance that in a short period of time... (absent new variants) Covid will be so low that no one is going to care anymore.

I am not saying that will happen I am simply stating that with half the population vaccinated and presumably much of the other half low risk... the only people who will be dying are the really dumb high risk or the high risk who can't take the vaccine for some medical reason... and perhaps maybe Christian Scientists.
Yes , there will be enough space between non vaccinated people that the virus cant jump hosts

This is why its a bad idea to put the non-vaccinated people together in one group

Based on the study the Cleveland clinic put up a few days ago... the safest people may be the previously infected as none of them got the virus a second time.
(this analysis does not really apply for future variants )

yeah that makes sense because a weekly report is so much more deceptive than a daily report.

is there a reason that we have to see a daily report?

Beyond that every other state is still providing daily reports, and COVID cases are exploding in Florida (as expected because indoor season starts in June).

that was not the question....

daily vs weekly... does not matter at this stage if it ever mattered and the officials might still have daily updates...

surely it does not matter if you only see the weekly count.

So right when the cases are rising again in Florida, DeSantis eliminates the daily report, stops counting non-residents in the weekly reports, stop providing information on COVID in schools, stops providing information on COVID in nursing homes, stops providing positive test result rates, and basically strips the weekly report down to the point it is meaningless.

Yeah... such a win for the citizens of Florida while DeSantis hides the data so he can drive his narrative. At this point it is beyond irresponsible, it is criminal.

so you getting hysterical about daily vs weekly... but that is not really you argument?
so lets check out another one..
are cases rising ?

looking at that chart... you would have to be hysterical to say cases are rising...
they are down at very low levels.

If your claim is cases are rising... what time period are you looking at.
The 7 day average is clearly down....

Well just about every new outlet in Florida is covering the rise. You do realize that Florida is one of only three states where COVID cases are rising rather than declining as of Sunday. "The CDC reported that Florida had the most new cases in the past 7 days with 13,383. That’s about 4,000 more than the previous week."

and for the previous week...
COVID-19 cases surge 14.9% in Florida
