Derek Chauvin jury reaches verdict in George Floyd case

110% of the time a change of venue is requested in THESE public type of cases. I did not even have to google it.

.

I see. Knew the answer but could not be bothered with giving it because you had other marbles you wanted to roll out on to the table.

Not.

You are welcome for the right answer.

Easy to see why you are not in a setting where direct responses to a question are required.

This was my first post to you:

So the decision of a fair trial was already addressed pre-trial for the most part.

I could write it in crayon for you if not direct enough.

I'm thinking politics will come into play.

Giving him the bare minimum ... maybe not a good look. "I'll just add a year ... for each charge."

Is it confirmed that the Judge determines the sentence? I haven't looked it up.

Criminal cases are judge sentencing with prosecution recommendations and defense gets to submit motions or evidence for mitigating factors.

IF the sentencing is not to BLM's liking, a riot/looting action will be taken. George Soros is already funding that operation.

It's possible that they have squeezed all the juice out of this George Floyd scenario. I could see them loading the Soros buses up and taking their roadshow to the next set of towns. In the same way that the chinese and koreans have professional mourners at funerals, the soros funded protesters will just move on to another town and be outraged- although it sure looks like many are enjoying the street theater and looting the liquor store part of it.

If Chauvin is convicted of any of the charges against him, he’ll likely serve multiple years in prison. The Minnesota sentencing guidelines for each of his two murder charges are 12.5 years and for his manslaughter charge are four years. He’ll only serve time for his most serious charge if he’s found guilty of all charges, although the prosecution plans to ask the judge for a longer sentence than the recommended 12.5 years.
