If you're much younger, then that could help explain why you guys seem so easily swayed by both mis- and dis-information without bothering to check it out. It's amazing how you guys seem to fall for stuff that most older more experienced individuals would immediately recognize as being unlikely to be true.
Or perhaps you made this up as convenient to your narrative. The truth is more likely that prior state secretaries did what Ms Clinton did and no one noticed or brought it to anyone's attention. Regardless, there are no substantive parallels between the Hillary incident and the present one. After the facts now known surfaced, the appearance in the present instance is that of an intentional stealing of highly sensitive government information.
When the National Archives asked that the missing documents be returned, it was claimed that they had already been returned. It was only after a subpoena for the missing documents was not complied with that the DOJ asked the court for a warrant. Had sensitive documents known to have been in our care disappeared when we left government service, I doubt either one of us would have been shown the same deference that the former president enjoyed. We'd have probably been on our front lawns in our pajamas while the FBI ransacked our homes.
Age is only correlated to wisdom. One doesn't ensure the other, especially in your case. You seem determined to wholly accept what fits your narrative (which aligns almost completely with party line) without said diligence performed to verify.

It's not that I am enamored with Democrat policy, it's that Republicans have lost touch with truth and reality. The are no longer a reasonable alternative to the Democrats. They have become a party beholden to conspiracy crackpots and will willingly take us down the road toward authoritarian government. I agree with Liz Cheney on this point. The Republicans are dangerous. They have left me with no choice other than to hope Democrats remain firmly in control of government. The alternative is horrible to contemplate as the majority of Republican politicians have proven that they have no integrity.
