That the DOJ is going after Trump based on classified documents in his possession where they have turned their back on Hillary and others who have done it? No we are right on schedule. Aging very predictably.
Not everyone can have the FBI director come out and announce that there "were some violations but I am sure that no reasonable prosecutor would prosecute the case" as Comey did for Hillary. Not everyone can have the former president of the United States, Bill Clinton have a secret meeting on the tarmac with the Attorney General a few days before the decision to not prosectue.
Yeh, we are on track for the predictable witch-hunt.
As I have said, there are dozens of felony violations that are low-hanging fruit for any Justice Department that wanted to act on the Biden Syndicate violations. Look me in the eye and tell me they would not have moved on the Trump family given the same scenario.
Let's focus on one issue at a time and not confuse things with whatabouttism.
DT had resisted requests for months, and failed to comply.
He then failed to comply to a subpoena specific to this issue, thus the catalyst for search after 18mths of non-compliance.
The search yielded 10 additional boxes of material that were government property, not his personal property.
Now, it's about what were contained in those boxes as well as what was discovered in that safe.
The fact that a search warrant was approved for a former President reveals that there was a "Reasonable Articulated Suspicion" as a basis for the affidavit and that it gave grounds for "Probable Cause" and thus triggered a court approved search warrant for what was certain to be forecast as a political firestorm.

for what's it's worth Hillary sat through 11hrs of questioning and didn't take the fifth once. For all of DT's bluster of "lock her up", he had all the levers of government and still could not come up with an indictment. So what's the simplest explanation? A big ol' nothing burger when it comes to emails.
Now the Hunter laptop. Were there classified documents found on the laptop? Of course not, Hunter Biden doesn't have a security clearance for that nor is he serving in the government as a public servant.

No, the issue of whether a poltically motivated witch-hunt is in progress is very much central to evaluating just exactly what is going on. You dismiss this as "whataboutism." Meaning "let's look at Trump" but stop bringing up the inconvenient truths about how Camps Biden and Clinton were/are treated. No. Not agreeing to that. Very much needs to be front and center.
The thing about historical "witchhunts", is that they did in fact find witches. I understand you are fixed on this issue. It's ok, at some point the cognitive dissonance will be such that you acknowledge the truth before your eyes or continue consuming disinformation.
I suspect that you would have the same opinion towards me, so until more facts arise, it's more speculation.
They went after Trump but did not get Trump.
Yes they got some side players on tax and perjury charges. That is the nature of a witchhunt. You cast a wide net just to see if you can get something.
Same thing with the January 6 witchhunt. They are after Trump but will get no conviction on any major charge, nor will they prevent him from running. Meanwhile their will be and are lots of others around him who they may bag on some charge. They are after Trump, though. This is what the game is all about. None of this would be going on or being handled in this way (both the aftermath of Jan 6, and Mar-A-Lago) if the dems did not think Trump was not going to be running.
I am sure they will look at everything. There has never been a time when both government ad the lefty media has not.
I am also sure that they will not look at the Biden criminal enterprise.
