We’ll see where all of this goes. It’s curious he handed over a little more than half of the stolen documents but held the rest in a pad locked basement. Like most people, I wonder what those documents consist of. Are they random notes, love letters from Kim Jung Un or missile defense plans. Could be anything.

It's about documents and someone wanting to steal them. But it is for Jan 6 documents, and the feds are the ones who are trying to steal them under the guise of national archives requests. Once they get the search warrant they are entitled to search any place where the alleged national archives documents could be and to seize anthing anything else that could be related to a crime even if national archives related.
They have been at it for a long time.
