Democrats purposely delaying Stimulus Package

Many businesses won't survive this. Some are already down the drain. I too think it's something we can do is spend at local small business when they open up again. Having been a small business owner myself in years past I know the pain of watching it go down the drain. I had a small pet store back in the 80's before the big box stores were even around. Nice little business. Wasn't ever going to get rich, but it was fun. Fell apart when the big boys came to town and that was that. Most customer loyalty only goes so far. You can give better service, but in the end it's about the dollar for most people. I have always shopped small business when I can. I have never even been in a Wal-Mart. Lots of hopes and dreams are going up in smoke over this.
Never been in a Walmart? In some parts of the country you are missing a real freak show.

To be fair, if you can't find something locally and don't feel like ordering from Amazon you can maybe find it at the local Walmart. I needed a battery powered doggy claw grinder, something like a Dremel. Got my instant gratification at Walmart. The place is a little disconcerting at first but not everything is from China. Just don't buy meat there lol.

"Democrats purposely delaying Stimulus Package" while the GOP pontificates for 3 hrs so far, propping the market & not bringing an agreed on bill to vote yet.

This shit's going all the way to the close so they can blunt the job numbers tomorrow.

I don't see you working all day around fluffy kittens and cute puppies...

Jobs report should not be that bad, people have not been laid off or filed for unemployment yet.. next week will start to show it

Currently people have to wait about 10 days before they file though it varies by state. Part of the recovery bill removes that delay I think so folks are eligible their first day out of work.

I'm personally stimulating the US and Panamanian economies today.

I normally like to have a list of stuff I need and then research and find what is good and sort of enjoy the process. At some point, however, that list becomes so vast that I have to stand in the middle of a large marine store and just start pointing.

When you just start pointing at stuff in a marine store, big stuff, your bill will climb like the national deficit.

It leaves my face flush, my heart pounding and my stomach turning a bit. Tonight I will pass out from the expenditure and wake up in the morning feeling like I'm packed in ice in a Las Vegas bathtub missing a kidney.

Why is that necessarily bad if United and Carnival Cruise are going to get funding to cover employees and losses, Kennedy Center also is losing a lot of money being closed for about 6 weeks in total or more when this is done. That is not a political divisive issue, both parties support the Kennedy Center.
Interestingly enough, Trump came out in support of providing funding for the Kennedy center in his press conference today. It seems this is more of a bipartisan issue than many people thought.
