Never been in a Walmart? In some parts of the country you are missing a real freak show. Many businesses won't survive this. Some are already down the drain. I too think it's something we can do is spend at local small business when they open up again. Having been a small business owner myself in years past I know the pain of watching it go down the drain. I had a small pet store back in the 80's before the big box stores were even around. Nice little business. Wasn't ever going to get rich, but it was fun. Fell apart when the big boys came to town and that was that. Most customer loyalty only goes so far. You can give better service, but in the end it's about the dollar for most people. I have always shopped small business when I can. I have never even been in a Wal-Mart. Lots of hopes and dreams are going up in smoke over this.
To be fair, if you can't find something locally and don't feel like ordering from Amazon you can maybe find it at the local Walmart. I needed a battery powered doggy claw grinder, something like a Dremel. Got my instant gratification at Walmart. The place is a little disconcerting at first but not everything is from China. Just don't buy meat there lol.
