The congressman went for the kid's face, to me that's serious, and deserves a punch to the gut. I wonder what charges they would trump up though? If one [elite leftist] congressman was punched they would all get in a huff and be passing retroactive laws specifically aimed at me probably... then they would leave it to me to take it to the supreme court while I sat in solitary with no telephone or computer!!

I do like the question though, it's the same one that ugly reporter threw at the lovely church lady Sarah Palin about the nonexistent "Bush Doctrine"... hee hee, the Congressman caught that right away, I guess he's not got much of a sense of humor :)

What a great country we are becoming with legislators that go slapping kids around. A piece of shit. I am with CO, this man exemplifies some of the trash running the US today. And his lame apology doesn't rectify the situation. This is how scum behaves when they think they are royalty.

Believe it or not, gayfly1 not only lacks a paycheque for posting the garbage he continues to put up, i think he actually enjoys it.
 
Trying to defend this is blind partisanship. We can't see his face, but his tone was in no way insolent. Even if it were, the congressman could have walked right by or even told him to fuck off, instead he attacked the kid. That kid could have and SHOULD have started swingin until that rep was on his ass.

You cannot go around grabbing people or slapping camera's out of their hands because you don't like what they have to say, at least not on public property. It doesn't matter who you are, threatening or inciting violence deserves/requires an equal or more forceful response. Calling this kid a punk for asking a question, in what appears to be a respectful manner, is indefensibly partisan.
