Either way, the Democrats are splitting their votes. On November 9, 2016 right after the elections, I got calls from liberal friends who are all Democrats. They told me they voted for Donald Trump and not Hillary Clinton. I did not solicit their votes nor campaigned for Donald Trump. I guess even some liberals have some common sense. Probably, took them a lot out of them to cast those votes but, they did!
You see all these media reports right after the election and since that keep pointing out that hillary's vote was held down because so many people thought that it was a given that she would win so there was no need to show up.
Yeh, okay, whatever. But the thing that I do not see reported is that that factor is true for Trump voters too. Many/most people did not think that Trump would win so lots and lots of Trump supporters did not bother to show up as well. The dems aren't the only ones who came away from that election with an understanding that there vote does actually count and will have that in mind come election day.
And the trump voters will be trying to do double-duty when they vote. They are trying to get their win from last time back from the swamp as well as for the upcoming years.
