Decline of useful conversation on ET

The reason why we created a politics section to begin with is because members were discussing political issues in many of the various trading forums anyway, especially during election years. So what we realized is that if people are going to discuss politics no matter what, then we should at least create a dedicated section for those conversations to keep them separated from the trading forums. The original forum we created was for both Politics and Religion, but we eventually split that into two separate forums as well to keep those topics better organized.
Like any pyramid, this one as well, brings the top as a difficult place to remain.
There are members that remains professional, majority of the time, tho, even them, might crack a joke (,,bite" a little bit), if the topic turns out about something important to them. Something, that might effect their - income (?)
If that was* a pyramid of emotional stability, then the top would be as cold as ice & colors would slowly turn into the red flame, the lower you go.
Lowest position in both pyramids, occupied by the least ,,stable" people, yet, even the guys from the top, would end up in the middle or bellow, sometimes, not because of being emotionally unstable, but, as mentioned, they have to protect their business.
Sometimes, you have to talk some shit.
