seriously...first he complains that everyone is 'depressed' and therefore causing a recession and now he says we need to stop being depressed and just accept the recession.

We are in a recession and we will make it. Nothing is going to happen. SPX and markets stay flat during recessions unless we bring upon us a self induced "bear market" and connect it with a recession in the background with our creative negativity and hopelessness.
US economy is no hiccup, its the strongest and a leader in the world's financial markets...but some of our citizens are made of melted wax.. and they crumble at the first roar of the lions. The lion has not roared yet.
