Quote from frank grimes:
pysch!!!! not quite pyscho!!! I'm here...i'm ambivalent to the future...day7793 sucks.... he's queer! your awful! my parents friends think you are weird! you've never had a girlfriend!?!? sorrty ETC....ETC...
Quote from street carp:
All you ET'ers really are bad. When you sell any stock you expose your psychosis. This is a nightmare for us all. I think I am going to cry and pray to God for all of us (even to Mitt Romney's Utah Jesus). Please, everyone start to buy stocks and don't worry about corrections or over-exuberance. Don't consider market cycles or price bubbles anymore.
Just everybody keep buying. We'll take the market up 10-15% each year from here on out and eventually we will all be rich. This is a simple formula that can work. Will all ET'ers follow me on this? We can get Jim Cramer on our side, too. This guy is very smart, you know.

Quote from day7793:
Here is ane example of constant whining and pessimis as posted on an artcle on yahoo on 2/6/2008
"But the attempt to rebound was proving difficult for Wall Street. "I don't see anything in the markets that says there's any newfound optimism," Johnson said. "We're kind of trying to create a silk purse out of a sow's ear here. The earnings are lousy, the economic numbers are lousy"
To this idiot everything is bad? Right? Wrong. Feds have cut rates by 1.25 and he cannot appreciates that, unemployment is at 4.80, today the jobless claims came lower by 22,000, there isn no empirical evidence of a recession yet.
But this pessimist toad iw whining on these artcles and taking you down with his coughing and sneezing- its an illness.

Quote from Cocaine:
Your whining is just as bad for the bull case. Both sides who whine are annoying. Id rather stay neutral and make money, but thats just me![]()
Quote from day7793:
How am I whining? Am I stating things are bad when they are not? I have been stating give up this dooozy pessimism and get back to life and not end up with the ditch.
Quote from street carp:
Yeah...I don't know what else to add. Maybe we are in recession and maybe something bad happened with houses and home loans. I don't know..the numbers are too much to crunch. (Ha ha...that sounds like Crunch 'N Munch...I like cereal.)
We are ET'ers (not all from UFO's...haha) We are probably a very big part in the Wall St. We can all just close our eyes to the suicidal market and keep clicking buy-buy-buy. We will get over this someday so why not just make that day today?
If we BUY-BUY - we can say BYE BYE to this mean bear that's chomping down on us right now.
PS. I hope this didn't come across as racist.
Quote from Cocaine:
Starting multiple threads telling people to stop whining about the economy is in its own way...whining. You are pushing your view point (many times) on everyone here and lashing out at people when they dont agree with you. Traders just trade, up down, sideways...whatever!
This is what I have been trying to tell you, we dont care if its up or down. My job is not dependent on the mkts going up, my job is to profit from whatever is going on on a daily basis. I am not wishing for a crash or collapse just that prices continue to move and I make money. Price action is down right now, rate cuts havent done that much and this is a telling sign. But if we head back up, you better believe I will jump on board.
I have opinions about people who have such strong opinions, and that is I think its crap. If you are a trader, short term to daytrader like most of us are here, then there is no need for a strong opinion. Just apply your methods to the market and let things play out as your style dictates.
