Hi Maxinger, can I ask you a question?
To choose futures with force for the day how do you do it?
Look at the daily range?
In an hour?
Do you use a website?
Basically I focus on what has happened over the past few minutes to the past few hours.
I'd divide the futures into various categories.
Those futures that were known to move will probably move again and
those futures that didn't move will probably not move over the next few days.
For the 2nd category, it will move just that we don't know when.
For these futures, I will trade with reduced quantity.
eg of these are
crude oil, bonds, Eurex STOXX50
Notice that my journal focuses very heavily on what has happened recently.
It is because I want to be clear about what to focus on.
There are futures that move once in a blue moon.
eg corn, soya, wheat, short term bonds, exotic currencies ...
I put all these charts in my archive workspace.
I tried tick charts before. It didn't work for me.
