Day & Night trading Derivatives Futures

23 Sep US session preparation

what moved so far ...

USD based NG (is US getting very hot ?), copper, gold
simsci, India nifty, and perhaps hangseng

US session is the worst session to trade ;
the charts will surely freeze even though volume is not that high.
Generally, I find US session has the worst trendiness compare with Asian and
European sessions.
anyway, I wouldn't be trading it when daylight savings is over.

28 Sep summary

# signals during early Asian session : 6
# signals during early Eur session : 3
# signals during early US session : 1 <<< worst session to trade

US index futures uptrend started during 28 Sept Asian session (or rather
last Fri US session ).

movers were index futures, gbp and perhaps gold and NG.

30 Sept Asian session review

what happened :
NQ Hangseng went up decisively (probably due to China economic data).
Then reverse direction decisively due to whatever reason.

Other index futures also follow similar patterns.

The market was trendy and healthy.
Traders love such an easy to trade market.

Most likely market will be kind to traders over the next few hours.

29 Oct summary

the day is not over yet.
Anyway, nowadays there are lots of signals.
Make hay while the sunshine. Because soon there will
be drought / famine.

movers were:

index futures like NQ, Taiwan index, China A50, Hangseng,
India Nifty, dax

commodities like
crude oil, gold, copper, NG, HO, RBOB

currencies like aud eur gbp

bonds like
Italy btp

I managed to catch < 1/2 of the signals but that is good enough.
very easy to earn $$$$ from such a trendy market.
Hope the next few days, the market will continue to be that trendy.

Which session (asian, eur, US) is the best for day trading?
Most likely it is the European session.
ie trade whole of eur session nonstop and without rest.

30 Oct Eur session preparation

downtrend started during mid Asian session / Before Eur session.

movers were :
dax (not so tradable during Asian session due to low volume), US index futures, Hangseng, India nifty, oil, gold.
The market has been trendy and that's great.

better trade whole of Eur session with no meal breaks, no toilet breaks.
I am sure the European traders will do likewise.
Also trade heavily.
set target profit at positive / negative infinity for at least 1 lot.
Such easy to trade market only come once a while.

4 Nov ELECTION day trading

what to trade
US index futures - trade ES
asian / eur index futures
GBP AUD
Copper
US bond
gold

avoid trading
NQ ( too chaotic !)

the market will most likely swing up and down, swing up and down ...
providing lots of opportunities.
The market will move very rapidly. and the signal will come out of nowhere.
so your fingers must be on the mouse at all times.
order - most of the time, I will be using market order to enter
(because the market is going to move extremely rapidly)
and attach a stop order.

stop loss - have to increase by 2 times

Look out for intercorrelation because there will be lots of fake signals.
The whole world is looking at intercorrelation among the
various index futures, commodities, bonds, currencies etc etc etc
