Day & Night trading Derivatives Futures

Thanks, maxinger.

You sure trade a lot of markets.

How do you keep track of it all from a day trading perspective? Would be easier to understand if you were swing trading them.

I gave up on swing trading long ago.

I am ok to day trade about 10 to 20 futures.
Beyond that, my brain CPU cannot cope.
Of course, when I first started trading, I started with one.
and as time goes by, I add more and more.

But when there is a very major event coming up,
I will just focus on < 10 futures.
Because my brain CPU is not powerful enough, and
my hand movement is not rapid enough.

2 Sep summary

big trendy movers were :
crude oil
Natural Gas
dax
hang seng
China A50
Taiwan index
Russell 2000

big untrendy movers were :
NQ
gold

small movers were:
eur gbp
US & Germany bonds
Thailand SET50
India Nifty

trendy - movement is smooth, tidy, decisive, not erratic, not chaotic, not messy

Today Hangseng.

It was very trendy.
But most of the time, the market is untrendy and unkind and heartless.

continuation signal vs reversal signal vs counter-trend trading definition.

3 Sep US session preparation

so far,
most of the movement was a continuation from the previous day.

interestingly, NQ went down significantly during Eur session when other Asian & Eur index futures hardly moved.

4 Sep preparation

that is interesting.
Europeans started the NQ massive downtrend.

Yesterday most trendy index futures award goes to NIKKEI !!!
And most untrendy index futures award goes to NQ !!!

currencies, bonds moved very little.

the focus for today will be mainly on all index futures, and perhaps copper, oil

sigh ...
again margin has been increased.

4 Sep Eur session preparation

The market is getting very dangerous/deadly / dead .

It is getting very quiet.

Has it found the comfort zone?

8 Sep US session

sigh ...
The worst session to trade is US session;
Chart freezes, even trading platform freezes.

For today, the best session to trade is Eur session.
And the best futures to trade is probably NQ,
follow by gbp, crude oil, ES

Anyway, daylight saving coming to the end.
Time for me to stop trading US session, and sleep early.
Age is catching up;
joint pain here, joint pain there,
joint pain here and there ....
What lousy bones and joints.
