21 Apr crude oil trading

while waiting for Asian market to move, I might as well analyse the crude oil chart.


down @ 1025am. max profit : $550 per lot.

down again @235pm. max profit : $9300 per lot.

reversal up around 535pm. max profit : about $5000 per lot

down again @1144p. max profit : $7000 per lot

reverse up @201a. max profit : $5000 per lot

max max profit $31000 / lot

as mentioned, after 500pm, crude oil movement was rather chaotic.
ie lots of land mines.


for heavy scalpers, they can probably identify thousands of signals.
the Exchange loves such scalpers

there were much fewer land mines ( false signals ).

hmmm. US index futures getting rather untradable.
better trade other things.
Asian index futures are rather trendy.

indeed Asian index futures (Taiwan index, Thailand SET50) are trendy.
hangseng appears to be laggard.

hmmm. wonder when India Nifty bid offer spread is going to shrink.


oil - nice downtrend @820am. max profit $900 / lot.
uptrend @916am. max profit $500 / lot.


lately, European index futures has been rather untrendy.
