28 Apr Mid Eur session review

seems like it is not D day.
for D day, my volume traded will be reduced

major movers still index futures.
lead appears to be Hangseng.
USD also moved (it weakened ).


for this type of strong bullish market, must leave some lots behind for many hours
to stretch target profit.

hmmm. yesterday ES went up during Asian session ;
It went up like a mountain Iron Goat.
It also went up during US session.
It went up like elderly people going up the mountain with walking stick ;
it went up, fell down, went up and fell and fell and up and fell ....

Russell 2000 going up very strongly since Eur session.

anyway I hardly trade Russell 2000 during asian and eur session.

what happened past few hours ...


most asian and US index futures moved.
lead appears to be simsci (due to covid, monthly roll over or whatever reason)

most bonds , gold, currency futures movement rather limited and untrendy

definitely crude oil is moving. its proxy / laggard copper also moved

past few days, Italy btp bond has great day range

US index futures, Nikkei (Japan on holiday) gapped down.
it might be sometime before market decides where it'd want to go.

look at simsci. after opening, price swinged from276.8 to 286.8 ie 3.5% in just 1 second.
either someone with very fat finger, or some crazy lousy algo which caused such a wide sing.

nice strong uptrend from
Taiwan Index & India Nifty (and that's before India stock market opens) ;
straight forward out from the textbook trade.
simsci movement was rather chaotic.
Taiwan Index futures max RR ratio 7:1


Hangseng gapped too much. so now, he needs to catch his breathe & rest.

other futures like
bonds , gold, currencies, copper, NG, crude oil... hardly move.

ok. let's see what the people from India, Europe are going to do.

5 May Eur session

market is getting more and more tame.

few weeks ago, I have increased my stop loss by 2 or 3 times for quite a few financial products.
I am progressively reducing it.
OK. India Nifty is getting quite tame.

margin increase ---> increase stop loss.
 
5 May US session

NQ signals so far :

up @907am
up again @201pm
reverse down @444pm
reverse up @530pm
up again @646p


lately Italy BTP bond has been moving.
and Germany bonds too.
It seems that the spreaders are back, and they are spreading across Germany & Italy bonds.


will Natural Gas move again?

Asian index futures - very strong up momentum.
lead probably simsci or China A50.
wonder what trigger such strong momentum.
nice to see market moving at 89 degree gradient.

lately
US index futures move during Asian session,
and Asian index futures hardly move during Asian session.
