A much better team? Geeesys. Put Dan Marino in his prime on this Bears team and they would have won by 30.

Do you really think that he is a great QB right now ? LOLQuote from ElCubano:
i think he is a great QB ..just needs to be able to handle stress or time in the pocket without throwing it away or throwing it off balance like he does most of the time...if you dont release within 3 sec then why attempt to push ( which is what he does )...yes it is a team sport thats why I said he fucked it up by throwing those 2 interceptions..im not saying they could have won..but by throwing those 2 interceptions at the crucial time he did..he took the bears out of it completely..at that point it doesnt matter who had what or who ran or blocked harder...that was behind them at that moment..he just completely took them out of the little chance they had...peace and better luck next year...I hope he turns out to be a great QB...he is from UF![]()
Because imo the one thing that the Bears lack is a consistant QB. What I am trying to point out is that everyone is saying that the Colts are a better team than the Bears. I am saying that the only difference between the Colts and the Bears is a QB that did not beat himself. What is more, if they had one that was a star on the same level that PM is, they would have won handily because pound for pound, they matched up easily at every other position.Quote from TM_Direct:
Uhmmm...That makes a lot of sense...Put a HALL of FAMER who holds EVERY passing records and they woudl have done better? Well, Yeah, Duh!...
While your at it why not add Mean Joe Green and Lawrence Taylor to their defense and say " If we had those guys Indy wouldn't have scored"![]()

One player. That is all. Look at the games the Bears lost during the regular season - all against potent QB teams.
Now that the league sees how to beat the Bears, unless the Bears do some major restructuring, they are going to go 9 and 7 next year.

I played corner and halfback at ETHS freshman and softmore year until I broke my hand. I have been watching football for close to thirty years.Quote from TM_Direct:
Uhmmmm..Have you ever played organized football??? I don't care who the QB is, if you have pressure all over you its going to be a long nite. The OL of the Colts manhandled the bears . The BACKUP RB had over 100 yards!!!!

The reason the running backs got so much yardage was because the Bears as a team strategy were playing not to get beat by Manning. They were defending the pass, not the run.
I am wasting my time.
