Ok, well at least its not just me that feels that way. I took futurecurrents off ignore today and read most of this thread.

Futurecurrents is like one of the little boys you see in documentaries about madrasas where they memorize the Quran but have little comprehension of the meaning. He is simply spewing stuff he has read. It is religious fanaticism in both cases.

There is no intellectual depth or understanding of the feedback mechanisms involved. It doesn't make sense for me to go back and forth with these types. It would be like me discussing quantum electrodynamics with my gardener.

Then you seem him become instantly hostile when any technical assertion he has regurgitated is challenged. How many times here in P&R have we seen this pattern with AGW disciples?

LOL I couldn't read any more of his tripe and put him ON ignore. I'll just see a few of his posts vicariously through other poster's quotes like I do with Ricter and IQ-47.

Some here like the face slapping contests but I prefer to see the idiots go down and stay there if they don't have anything sensible to contribute.

I see Lucrum not run an ignore list and always wonder why I'm not able to do that.

I'm down to just one guy right now (Gabs) but I'm probably going to have to add SouthAmerica for purposes of blood pressure regulation. :)

I've put -47 on ignore intermittently in the past but it just works better for me to read his posts and fire for effect. He gets rattled so there is some piddling satisfaction I guess.

I understand. An electrical engineer should know more about AGW than someone with an education in environmental science and will talk above him should he speak of it.

You also know better than 97% of the world's climatologists. You don't think CO2 is a greenhouse gas, and man has not raised it by a third over the last two hundred years. Dr Roy Spencer is your hero.

How can you do it? I have almost 100 on my ignore list. Many I'm sure aren't around anymore but the wrong post at the wrong time and - On Ignore. Nobody escapes from the ignore list.
 
You guys are pathetic. I post multiple factual posts discussing the science and get no counter-argument other than some hack articles from shills. The response to this true information ? is to be put on ignore. Truly pathetic bury-head-in-sand-behavior.

But I guess ya got to be true your school eh?

What I do now is to soft-ignore. I see their posts but simply do not respond. It is actually a pretty good windup in some cases. One guy here in P&R is getting more and more agitated by the soft-ignore and is ready to explode. It is a great passive-aggressive technique and some people really freak out.

I think I may have learned that one from Lucrum as well.

I guess I just prefer to read and converse with those who have values and opinions close to my own. Although my wife tells me I'm wrong all the time. But I know she is right if she says so. :D
