Cut the Crap About Red States Subsidizing Blue States

overall I agree... I don't mind if property taxes or other taxes or tariffs (I am not sure how tariffs could be progressive) were a little bit progressive but within that tax structure we have no reason to tax peoples income. Unless like buffet we tax the people who request higher taxes. Taking peoples income is a theft designed to prevent competition for assets and politicians. We certainly have other ways we can fund the govt.

i might add the income tax leads to mal distribution of wealth.
because taxes take larger percentages of wealth from those with lower income and fewer assets...

all the assets wind up in the hands of the bankers with access to the font of money at the Federal Reserve. hence all the polticians service the cronies. int he end the bankers run the show.

which is why it was not a coincidence that the federal income tax and the creation of the federal reserve (owned by private shareholders per the FED reserves site) were created within one year of each other.
