Yes, Trump hid information about how serious he thought COVID-19 would be in the future. This isn't good.

Cuomo hid information to cover up the results of his actions after people died from them. Maybe it was to make sure he got his International Emmy Award for 'Masterful' COVID-19 Briefings?:) The cover up and alleged threats if the issue was revealed show he is just another slimeball politician.

It was Nancy Pelosi who said- twice- that "even if you know you cannot get a conviction you should impeach Trump just to put a stain on his legacy."

Perhaps some republicans and dems in Albany will apply her most excellent thinking to Cuomo's situation.

His threatening of other lawmakers is fully an impeachable offense as well so it is beyond just the covid death camps that he set up.
 
Until the spring of 2020 it appears that Andrew Cuomo was going to just putter along as a typical Democratic governor of New York with limited achievements and an underwhelming record -- with a lengthy reputation of having a thin skin, being vindictive, and trying to bully others.

Then came his possible moment to shine. A crisis unlike any other in recent decades. At first, Governor Cuomo appeared to be a rising star. A leader who did an excellent job with his daily press conferences at the beginning of the COVID crisis. He was calm, factual, collective, and provided people with confidence. Very different than the Trump press conferences.

Then the wheels went off the wagon with the nursing home death crisis in NY. At the time this news came out - I stated that Cuomo needed to truthful, accept responsibility and get ahead of the crisis. Instead he deflected and tried to blame everyone else. We were back to the old, traditional Andrew Cuomo -- his poised daily briefings were quickly forgotten as the COVID crisis eased in New York and overwhelmed other parts of the country.

Now we have arrived at the point where a federal investigation is starting of his administration over the nursing home deaths and people are calling for Andrew Cuomo to be impeached or resign. All coupled with new stories of him bullying other members of his own party.

Ocasio-Cortez calls for full investigation of Cuomo's handling of coronavirus in nursing homes

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) is calling for a full investigation of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s (D) handling of COVID-19 outbreaks in nursing homes.

The New York Democrat in an emailed press release on Friday joined other officials in calling for an investigation into how Cuomo’s administration handled coronavirus outbreaks in nursing homes.

“I support our state's return to co-equal governance and stand with our local officials calling for a full investigation of the Cuomo administration's handling of nursing homes during COVID-19,” the statement said.

“Thousands of vulnerable New Yorkers lost their lives in nursing homes throughout the pandemic. Their loved ones and the public deserve answers and transparency from their elected leadership, and the Secretary to the Governor's remarks warrant a full investigation,” the statement read.
