Started swapping $Rune for $Inj (Injective), $Tia and $Osmo and Solana crypto assets for defi participation (yield farming Orca and Osmosis, Chihuahua)
I think $Rune still has potential but a bit of fomo on the high flyers plus $Rune is part of the Cosmos ecosystem (Injective, Osmosis, Celestia, and many others) so can go back to $Rune if it performs better
No leverage on these crypto assets "investments". Speculative plays for the next bull market next year
After a week of playing around the different blockchains of the Cosmos ecosystem, Injective $Inj is the clear winner
I'll be selling the unstaked $Tia (Celestia), stopped the yield farm Osmo-Huahua and sold the $Osmo, still hodling the Chihuahua $Huahua for now, currently m2m ~25% loss, not much loss on $Tia, breakeven on $Osmo
Not very happy on the Equal-ftm yield farm, roundtripped a m2m profit of $2.7k to a m2m loss of $2.3k currently. Still yield farming, the APR is high but dex volume is low and Fantom ecosystem is sort of dead at the moment
Which is an extreme contrast to the Solana and Injective ecosystem that are both on fire
I have a yield farm Orca-Sol, very volatile prices on both, $7k farm m2m value to $.7.6k down to $5.9k back up to $7.4k yesterday, now $6.98k all within a week. dex volume is high and will keep farming
Got some staked crypto assets on Solana platform for possible airdrops, nothing big, and no delta (price) risk since they are synthetic stablecoins. The risk is the platform getting hacked

Solana is very big already and lots of activity on the ecosystem,
but Injective is on hyper-growth that has put a lot of load on the blockhain infrastructure, lots of issues and lags for past few days, the devs are on it, any issues I personally had were resolved, no lost coins, just lost opportunities if trying to trade
I have Injective nft's Premiere Ninja and Injective Quants, nfa, but allow access to Discord for "alpha"

I'm hodling a bag on the leading meme coin of the Injective ecosystem, dogwifnunchucks $Ninja and yield farming, very high volatility in price, moves up and down 30% in less than an hour

Crypto is insane. My Equal-Ftm yield farm is now m2m profit $2.1k (inclusive of yield)
I closed and re-opened my yield farm Orca-Sol
then heard of dogwifhat Solana meme coin $Wif where someone turned $100 to $200k and sold, but now worth even higher so I said I gotta get in on that, I'm very late but don't mind yield farming over 250% yield per month while the dex volume is very high
Anyway, tradfi has no idea what's going on in cryptos markets and this is not even a crypto bull market, yet, it's just meme season

Closed the Equal-Ftm yield farm last night and transferred value to Wif-Sol yield farm, but I'm hodling the $Equal tokens
It's difficult to say in hindsight from last night if it was the correct move as I woke up and everything up (Asia time), Equal, Fantom, dogwifhat ($Wif) and Solana
But the yields are obviously not on the same level, Wif-Sol is over 200% per month while Equal-Ftm is currently 56% per year
Trading volume --> dex fees --> yields for the yield farms (liquidity pools of automated market makers)
The volume on Ninja is trending down, planning to de-risk and close it down
Bitcoin has been stuck at this level, below $44k, can't break above for too long... It's waiting for the spot etf news. The action is on the altcoins for now

The last bull market cycle was disappointing, bitcoin should have gone above $100k
Too many leverage and tradfi company blowups, ftx/alameda, celsius, blockfi, voyager, genesis, 3ac, earn (gemini) and who knows how many more
The defi counterparts of these companies had no problems, uniswap, pancakeswap, aave, venus, makerdao, compound. Token prices crashed but funds deposited or traded were safu
This coming bull market cycle starting next year 2024 will be better than the last one. Crypto bros learnt the lessons, not your keys not your coins
2024-2025 will be fun
I was not going to update today and save it for next week, but it was an eventful week
Monday 12/18/23 was a mini crash for bitcoin which also crashed the Mstr stock and options
Congress bill to (effectively) ban bitcoin self-custody was introduced
Friday today and all bitcoin-related stocks were up big
I will have to decide next week if I'm, going to sell to close any part of the options position to lock-in gains and taxes for this year
It does not look like the position will hit 6-figure value...
I think Sol hit $100 a yesterday or the day before, is that your break-even?

I was going to comment on this ongoing "controversy" but it would have been better when I did not own any $Sol or $Sol crypto assets, but now that I do own 5-figures $ value, I am biased

Here's my 2 satoshis worth on Solana vs Ethereum, tl;dr Ethereum maxis have fucked themselves into a corner
They made 7, 8, 9 and even 10 figure $ riches off the Ethereum NGU over the past 8-9 years. They have scammed the Wall Street tradfi folks, etf's and futures and all, but now what?
They pushed the tx fees very high and told everyone use L2, but the crypto users said fuck that, we'll go to a cheap blockchain L1 instead, Solana! (and there are other alternatives, Inective/Cosmos ecosystem)
Ethereum thought they were being clever, corner the Eth supplies, reward themselves for doing nothing just sitting back stacking, push the tx fees higher and higher, through burning and PoS rewards, but guess what, nobody wants to use your blockchain
The Eth maxis are depressed seeing all the riches made in Solana and other L1 blockchains. Some are jumping ship to Solana, guess what, that is a reflexive loop, all the riches from Ethereum ecosystem will start moving, too, seeing all the NGU profts made by others
And it's going to be a massive opportunity when it goes from gradually to suddenly
