Genesis bankruptcy announcement last night was the biggest crypto firm to file for bankruptcy
This is also the best news we can have during the crypto winter
This is now a confirmation that Genesis will not be able to dump any bitcoin or crypto assets on the market
This is also a wake up call to all the rich people who "used to own" bitcoins (crypto assets) at Fidelity, Gemini and other private institutional arrangements that their bitcoins that were lent out to Genesis for yields are gone!!!
These rich people can now decide starting from last night, whether they want to own the best and hardest money in the world which is Bitcoin
During the most crisis-laden period of the global financial system, i.e. Japan bond markets, US debt ceiling and all kinds of government failures such as Sri Lanka, Peru, Lebanon, and others
Some of these rich people are quick to react and probably buying in today, telling their assistants, buy bitcoins, telling their wealth managers buy bitcoins, telling their families, buy bitcoins
And I believe this will continue
One thing to note during this bitcoin market move from $16k to $22k is that the stablecoins have not grown much
What does it mean???
The leverage institutions that would wire money to Tether to trade huge leverage positions are wiped out of capital, due to Fed draining liquidity and US $ and global fiat currencies are no longer free to borrow
IOW, this bitcoin price move is mostly spot-driven
Cash, cash baby!!!
Fuck the wall street aholes who crashed the market, they wanna play, they gotta pay, and no more BORROWING, put up CASH or don't play, homie!!!
Not financial advice. Just my 2 satoshis worth of useless anon forum post
Good luck crypto family, may the force be with us. Pray for the next bull market in Bitcoin and crypto assets
Genesis filed for bankruptcy, not DCG nor GBTC
This is very positive news
Bankruptcy announcement of a crypto firm is almost always very good news
So bankruptcy announcement is good, pre-bankruptcy is bad, a couple of Friday nights ago, DCG was liquidating a bunch of tokens, Filecoin, was one of them,, so the sooner that Genesis announces bankruptcy, the better
