Nothing to do with CRT though I believe, my cousin lives in Pacific Heights and has K12 kids, it's something about money being wasted renaming nearly all the schools.
Not clicking on Fox links to check I'm afraid.
Better go read the linked articles. It has to do with (but not limited to):
- The school board members' statements about Asians and racism.
- The absurd renaming of schools.
- The closure of schools during the pandemic.
- The failed "equity" programs.
Don't try doubling down with me, you showed your propagandist colours well with the made up Meat Loaf quote. That was shameful, it had seemed you were trying to change a bit but nature is nature.
The issue as I have herd it, what floated to the top is the excessive renaming which my cousin did post about and that's what registered as too much to tolerate.
CRTmageddon is just GOP talking points and not involved in this anyway. Meanwhile a GOP area has recalled overly insane people of their own stripe for... nothing ever lately.

Article talks a lot about their incompetence.. not so much any CRT..
notice 3 specific members were recalled not the entire board...the main issue was renaming schools which was wasting a lot of time and resources while schools were still closed.
a tough recall campaign that pitted Democrats against Democrats as interlocking controversies over school closings and renamings fueled a well-funded backlash.
The seeds of anger that led to the recall effort were planted early in the coronavirus pandemic, when the board considered changing the names of as many as 44 public schools in a city that was still grappling with how to safely reopen them.
Noty really CRT but just wasted efforts of 3 members...

Only the three board members who were eligible for recall were re-called.
Yet you ignore all the issues about merit-based entry into schools and programs -- rather than equity based admission.. Plus all the other Woke nonsense parents objected to.
I cannot ignore something that was not in the story...
I read both FOX and CNN and both articles talked about parent outrage of wasting efforts on renaming schools rather than focusing on getting schools opened....
Unless you work for CNN and FOX you cannot add things into the story that were not there...
The recall is also bullshit because the elections are in 9 months which is the time to vote out people you dont like.
